Why Pakistani Businesses Need a Proper Website in 2026

The Facebook page problem

Walk through any market in Karachi and ask a shop owner where customers find them online. Nine times out of ten the answer is a Facebook page. It works — until it doesn't.

A social page is rented land. You do not control the algorithm, the reach, or whether the platform decides your posts are worth showing this week.

What a real website actually changes

  • Trust. A custom domain and professional design signal that you are a real, permanent business.
  • Search. Buyers search Google for "wholesale fabric Karachi", not Facebook.
  • Speed to sale. A structured catalogue, clear pricing, and a WhatsApp button shorten the path from interest to order.
Businesses that moved from a page to a proper site typically see their inbound enquiries become higher-intent, not just higher-volume.

What "proper" means

It does not mean expensive. It means fast on a 3G connection, readable on a 375px screen, indexed correctly by Google, and honest about what you sell.

Start with five pages: Home, Products or Services, About, Testimonials, Contact. Ship it. Iterate later.
